This mini-series of prints was inspired by a 1763 mathematics manuscript describing instructions for setting up a sundial. I was part of a small group of artists responding to the drawing of the sundial. Working with materials such as handmade paper, thread, and powdered pigment, I comment on time specifically concerning the cosmos, family genealogy, documentation and historical vs. contemporary artistic practices.
All prints are made with handmade cotton paper, powdered pigment with baking soda, vinegar, & thread
